The Nickellie Encryption Toolkit 2003 Unlimited Edition for Pocket PC and Windows includes all the tools you need to utilize data encryption and file encryption from within your Pocket PC and Windows applications. The toolkit includes COM objects with a standard interface for both the Pocket PC and Windows desktop platforms. This enables you to use the same source code on both platforms for both file encryption and data encryption. Data encrypted with the library can easily be transmitted between Pocket PC devices, between desktop computers or servers, or between a Pocket PC and a desktop computer or server. This encryption library is ideal for standalone Pocket PC or Windows applications and Client/Server applications.

Three Editions

This encryption library is available in three distinct editions: Trial, Business, and Unlimited. All versions include all of the tools you need for both file encryption and data encryption.

The Trial Edition of the encryption library is offered as a demo and includes the same features as the Business and Unlimited Editions with TWO minor differences:

1. The Trial Edition displays a message box each time the COM interface is used for file encryption or data encryption.
2. The Trial Edition does not include debug versions of the included DLLs.

The only difference between the Business Edition and Unlimited Edition is that the Business Edition only allows you to distribute applications built with the toolkit to users in your own organization. The Unlimited Edition allows you full royalty-free rights to distribute applications you build with the toolkit to any end user.

TWO Platforms

All three editions of the encryption library are available for both the Pocket PC and Windows platforms. This is critical for Client/Server applications that need to pass data from one platform to another. If you develop standalone Pocket PC applications and do not desire the ability to use these tools on the Windows platform, you should purchase the Pocket PC version of this toolkit.
