Most programs that I am familiar with create a Device ID based on the owner info on the pocket pc. The Device ID changed every time I did a hard reset on my pocket pc, even if the owner name,physical device, and firmware were the same as before the hard reset. So the company wont give me a new code to activate the software. They did not inform me on how many times I had to activate that device. When I asked for a code it took them a long time to reply. I had to send them a second email. If you ask me this program was a waste of 19 dollars. I downloaded and installed it and it was working exactly as it should. However, I didn't launch a net connection on the machine until two days later and didn't make the mental connection, but it was destroying my data link. Every time my 6600 connected on the 1X network it would immediately disconnect and report that the connection was disconnected on the other end. I was pulling my HAIR out. I did a hard reset and set it all back up (took probably 2 hrs) and when I had everything set all back up it started doing exactly the same thing AGAIN. I called Verizon tech support and they we did trouble shooting on it for 15 min or so, then I did a hard reset AGAIN while on the phone and it worked perfectly in the default configuration. I started loading programs one at a time and testing after each program install, and it worked perfectly until I loaded the very last program... this call blocker. As soon as it was loaded the problem immediately resurfaced. I uninstalled it and the problem immediately vanished. The problem persisted after TWO clean sweeps and manual reloads. I recommend you google "Call SMS Blocker" instead.
